Mirror Isles · Creator’s Room 9

Two upper mirrors and two lower circles

Match the upper bridge and its two mirrors with the two gold-circle islands below. Choose a hint before opening the complete route.

Two mirrors share the upper land, which has a broad western end, a narrow middle bridge and an eastern lobe. Two separate islands below each hold a gold circle.

Hint 1What to notice

Watch both pale landing positions from the upper light. One mirror interaction can leave two solid copies in this room.

Hint 2What to set up

The two copies respond to the same directional movement. An island’s shore stops one while the other can keep moving.

Hint 3The decisive move

After the eastern mirror moves north, send the upper copy to the southeast island. Use the two western shores to set the spacing, then move east to the circle columns and south onto both targets.

  1. Move the western mirror across the bridge

Push the western of the two upper mirrors west over the narrow bridge to the far western end. Leave the eastern mirror on its own lobe. Stand on the bridge’s eastern section in the horizontal light; check the two pale landings, one on the southwest island and one on the upper eastern lobe.

  2. Create the first two solid copies

Use the mirror interaction. The upper solid figure is replaced by two solid copies: one on the southwest island and one beside the upper eastern mirror. In the following steps, both copies respond to a common directional move; shorelines stop them at different times.

  3. Raise the eastern mirror and return to the bridge

Move north: the upper copy pushes the eastern mirror north while the southwest copy moves towards its island’s north tip. Move south to back away from the mirror, then west. The southwest copy stops at its western shore while the upper copy crosses the bridge to a position just east of the western mirror. Raising the eastern mirror has removed the original shared-row double-reflection setup.

  4. Transfer the upper copy to the southeast island

With the upper copy’s pale landing on the southeast island, use the mirror interaction. That upper copy is replaced by a solid southeast copy; the southwest copy remains on its own island. There are now two lower solid copies, not a third solid figure on the upper land.

  5. Use the shores to align both circles

Move west first. The southwest copy is already stopped by its western shore; the new southeast copy moves to its own western edge. Move east together until both copies are directly north of their own gold circle. Then move south onto both circles. The recording shows both targets occupied before the completion wash.

Both solid copies are directly north of their own circle; the next shared southward move completes the pair.

Check your result

Both lower gold circles are occupied by solid copies at the same time. Reaching only the southwest island, or seeing pale upper figures, is not the completed state.

If your attempt went wrong

If the final pair misses the circle columns, return west to the two shore stops before moving east and south again. If the upper copy still has the original double-reflection setup, check that the eastern mirror was raised north off the shared row.
