Mirror Isles · Creator’s Room 26

Two figures, a brown rock and two northern circles

Match the two western mirrors, the eastern brown rock and the two circles on the long northern island. Both starting figures are solid, not pale reflections.

Two similar orange-clothed solid figures start on the western island with two mirrors, one front-facing above and one dark-backed below. The eastern island has a large brown rock and a central notch; the separate northern island holds two gold circles.

Hint 1What to notice

Bring both solid figures onto the eastern island before making the northern crossing. The brown rock must line up with its narrow northward arm.

Hint 2What to set up

The single-tile stone bridge is also a spacing tool. While the front figure can walk west on the northern shore, water beside the bridge stops the rear figure from following sideways.

Hint 3The decisive move

After opening that horizontal spacing, bring both figures to the northern edge. Use the small southward adjustment, then east to the two goal columns and south into both circles.

  1. Send the first figure east

Move the lower dark-backed mirror east, then south within the western island’s lower half, leaving it offset from the upper mirror’s column. Follow the light and use the mirror interaction to transfer one figure onto the eastern island’s northern part. The other solid figure remains at the western island’s southern end.

  2. Bring the second figure onto the eastern island

Move the eastern figure around the brown rock to its east side. With the western figure in the lower mirror’s southward light and its pale landing on the eastern island’s northern part, use the mirror interaction again. Confirm both solid figures are now east, on opposite sides of the brown rock.

  3. Push the rock into the northern gap

Move the brown rock west onto the eastern island’s narrow northward arm, then push it north into the water gap below the two-circle island. The rock becomes a flat stepping stone across that gap.

  4. Use the bridge to separate the pair

Move north over the new stone. At the checkpoint the front figure is on the northern shore while the rear figure is still on the single-tile bridge, both in one column. Move west: the front figure walks west along the shore, but water beside the bridge holds the rear figure in the bridge’s column. This opens the horizontal spacing shown in the picture.

The front figure moves west along the northern shore while the rear figure is held in the narrow bridge’s column.

  5. Align at the northern edge and reach both circles

Move north until both figures are off the bridge and against the northern island’s upper edge. Make the short southward move shown by the route, then move east until the two figures are directly north of the two circles. Move south together onto both circles. The recording shows both occupied targets and the completion wash.

After the northern-edge adjustment and eastward movement, both figures stand directly north of their respective circles.

Check your result

The brown rock bridges the northward water gap. Both figures have crossed and are separated into the two circle columns; the completed state has one solid figure on each circle.

If your attempt went wrong

If the pair stays in one column, return to the bridge checkpoint: one figure must already be on the northern shore while the other is still on the narrow bridge before moving west. At the upper edge, retain the short southward adjustment before the eastward alignment; moving straight east from the edge is not the recorded finish.
