Hint 1What to notice
The northern mirror can give you access to the southwest island. Watch where its downward light reaches.
Hint 2What to set up
Reaching the lower island is not the finish. Its mirror needs to line up with the eastern exit island.
Hint 3The decisive move
Move the lower mirror north, then stand south of it. Check that the reflected position lands on the eastern island before transferring.

Reach the southwest island
Move the northern mirror west along the top island until its downward light reaches the northeast edge of the southwest island. Stand on the light east of that mirror and use the mirror interaction when the reflection is safely on the lower island.
Align the second mirror
On the southwest island, move its mirror north until its eastward light crosses the small exit island. Leave it on land; the target is the row through that eastern island, not the island’s southern edge.
Transfer to the gold circle
Stand south of the lower mirror, on its vertical light. Adjust your position until the pale reflection is on the eastern island, then transfer. Walk onto the gold circle; the recording shows a completion flash before Room 3.
Check your result
The character reaches the eastern island’s gold circle. Both mirrors remain on their own islands; reaching the southwest mirror alone is only the halfway point.
If your attempt went wrong
If the eastern reflection is over water, check the lower mirror’s north–south position first. If you are still on the top island, check that its mirror’s downward light intersects land before transferring.
