Skipping Stones · Level 1 · Board 9
A stone on the front pad
Ride the rear pad and push from it to redirect the front pad towards the exit.

Is this your board?
Two upper banks flank a small square current loop. A narrow strip of land and the next checkpoint sit at the lower right.
If your layout differs, compare the other boards before following this route.

Stop after any hint. The complete route and later-state picture remain hidden below.
Hint 1What to notice
The stone can ride with the lily pads. Your useful pushing position may be on a pad, not on an island.
Hint 2What to set up
Make two pads travel together. Load the stone on the leading pad and put the sailor on the one behind.
Hint 3The decisive move
Wait until your pair is in the left vertical part of the loop. A downward push redirects the lower pad to the right.

Reach the opposite bank
Put the available stone on the row above the upper pad and throw it all the way left. Ride the downward-moving pad to the upper-right checkpoint.
Arrange a moving pair
Use the bottom stone in the column left of the left pad and push down. Time the push so the two pads meet as an adjacent pair in the circuit.
Ride and redirect
Push the remaining stone from the bottom row onto the leading pad. Board the rear pad. From the left vertical section of current, push down to send the lower pad right, then disembark at the lower-right checkpoint.

Check your result
The stone is on the front pad and the sailor has a position behind it before the decisive push.
If your attempt went wrong
If the pads are separated, undo to the launch that pairs them. If the stone sits on the wrong pad, fix that before attempting the moving push.
