Skipping Stones · Level 1 · Board 2

Across the current loop

Make the first crossing, then arrange a second pair of pads to reach the lower-right checkpoint.

A pale island on the left faces an orange island across a vertical current. Two lily pads sit below the left island; two more sit beside the right island.

Stop after any hint. The complete route and later-state picture remain hidden below.

Hint 1What to notice

There are two crossings, not one. Completing the left-to-right crossing gives access to the stones for the second half.

Hint 2What to set up

Use the left island stone to send the lower pad around the current. The pad left behind becomes the other half of the bridge.

Hint 3The decisive move

After crossing, shift the two pads on the orange island down into the lower gap. Treat the two stones there as separate launchers.

  1. Cross the vertical current

Move the left-island stone left, down twice, then right. The upper pad sends the lower one into the flow. Push right again from the pad and cross when the two pads line up with the upper land.

  2. Prepare the lower pair

On the orange island, move the upper stone down twice and right four times. Use the remaining stone: right, up three, then right three. These throws reposition the two eastern pads.

  3. Reach the next checkpoint

Cross the lower gap on the pads while pushing the stone right. Stop at the checkpoint on the bottom-right island before continuing south.

The lower crossing becomes available after the eastern pair is aligned.

Check your result

You should be on the bottom-right land, not still on the upper orange island.

If your attempt went wrong

If the first crossing worked but the second did not, undo the eastern throws; there is no need to change the completed left-island setup.
